  • In order to reflect the current economic climate & the increase in digital marketing and to encourage independent hotels to enter the awards the 2009 categories are:

  • Best Marketing on a Small Budget for Independent Hotels

  • Best Marketing on a Small Budget for a hotel chain or chain hotel

  • Best Innovation in Marketing (even if re-invention of an 'old' idea)

  • Best Digital Marketing

  • Plus, the Young Marketer of the Year, with judges looking for evidence of entrants using the latest digital marketing techniques and demonstrating an ability to adapt to marketing in a recession.
